Maarten joined Nielen Schuman in 2022. Prior to that he worked at NIBC for 11 years in various departments where he gained extensive experience in financing solutions across the balance sheet, ranging from senior debt to equity products. Maarten’s expertise mostly concerns leveraged loans, buyout financing, subordinated / hybrid debt products and the structuring of (minority) equity solutions.
Maarten holds a Master in Business Administration (with honours) from the Rijksuniversiteit Groningen.
In his spare time, Maarten is passionate about his family, running and travelling.
